What do you do at Venatu?

As Specialist Logistics and Supply Chain Manager it is my responsibility to ensure that we are catering for the permanent staffing needs of our logistics clients, whilst also securing new business opportunities. I ensure that I have a thorough and detailed understanding of my client’s requirements, by having detailed conversations in order to gain a thorough understanding of their businesses. I have 9 years recruitment experience and draw upon this to ensure that the candidates I represent are of the upmost quality and add value. I believe that communication is key, and I ensure that candidates and clients are communicated with throughout the process.

What did you do before Venatu?

I have 9 years recruitment experience, starting in 2010 as a commercial consultant. After a year I moved to another recruitment agency and remained there for 8 years. I joined initially as a Perms Consultant, and in early 2014 I was promoted to Senior Consultant. Following a successful stint working across the Doncaster and Leeds branches I was promoted to Branch Manager of Doncaster in June 2014 and remained in this role for almost 5 years before leaving for a new challenge with Venatu. As Branch Manager I was responsible for running a multi-sector branch that dealt in Permanent Placement, Logistics, Industrial and Commercial.

What do you do outside of Venatu?

Most of my spare time is spent with my wife and 2 children, though I enjoy socialising with friends and have a keen interest in film which I studied at University.
