Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client to recruit an Assistant Manager. The purpose of the role is to assist in the complete running of the Installation depot; including the delivery and receipt of goods, control of stock, installation and collection of all payments cost effectively
Salary: £23k - £27K + Company Car
48 Hours per week (Flexible)
Monday - Friday (Saturdays required on an alternating basis)
30 Days Holiday
To assist in the smooth day to day running of the installation depot.
Maintain regular checks on all company vans within the depot to ensure no excess of materials are carried
Monitor outstanding payments and on a daily basis make arrangements for collection at the earliest possible date without any grievance caused to the customer
To assist in the visiting to any potential problem installation, completing the relative documentation to support the visit
To liaise with all fit teams and relay any relevant information to the Manager.
To help develop, implement, manage, monitor and maintain personnel management practices which ensure the recruitment, development and motivation of all staff
Provide adequate health and safety provision for all company staff and installation teams to ensure that the company complies with current regulations
To complete daily banking schedules and fax to Head Office on a daily basis before 9.30am
To undertake any other duties as assigned by any Senior member of staff
Experience within the glazing industry would be an advantage
Extremely strong customer service background
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is key
Flexible and agile in approach
Must possess excellent communication skills and have the drive to learn about new equipment and put new skills into action.
A commitment to quality and teamwork is essential.
