Business Development Manager

Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for a Business Development Manager.

THE ROLE

  • New Business Development
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and present using an effective sales call.
  • Manage projects from start to completion, utilising all support networks within the business
  • Quote and tender the full range of the groups products
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Attend all training and products development meetings.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience within the construction sector
  • Use of Abi, Glenigans or similar would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience working with architects
  • Specification sales would be a distinct advantage
  • Proven record of achievement
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Good IT Skills
