CAD Manager

Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for a CAD Manager.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • The CAD Manager will have overall responsibility for the final survey results and will lead the survey/CAD department.
  • Working with the Commercial Director and Project Development Managers to develop both existing and client base and the services provided to them.
  • Lead direct and motivate all those responsible for the Topographical Mapping and Drawing delivery.
  • Ensure that all issued data conforms to client specifications and company standards
  • Undertake periodic performance reviews and identify training requirements
  • Undertake Topographical Mapping and data processing as required
  • Deliver appropriate training (theory and practical)
  • Ensure that all required information sufficient for the comprehensive project audit is located in the digital job folder
  • Identify requirements for improvement in recording site data, processing and Quality Assurance.
  • Be proactive in assisting those undertaking National Vocational Qualifications
  • Integrate a;; Quality Assurance procedures into the existing ISOI System (9001) and work toward 14001 accreditation
  • Support Commercial Directors and Project Development Managers as required

KEY TASKS

  • Ensure the information provided to the Land Survey Team is sufficiently adequate to enable the allocated job to be effectively executed.
  • Ensure the prompt and accurate completion of all task sheets, time sheets, expense forms and any other company paperwork by all Land Survey employees
  • Ensure that Land Survey employees area trained to fulfil the requirements of the allocated job
  • Inspect work to ensure that it is conducted according to instructions and is in conformity with accepted land surveying standards
  • Liaise daily with Land Surveyors on the progress and feedback on all allocated jobs
  • Ensure that all damage or loss of equipment or vehicles is promptly notified to the company
  • Ensure that all surveyors are aware of job feedback and implement appropriate actions where feedback indicates room for improvement
  • Ensure that the business is kept informed of client, competitor or market intelligence gained whilst undertaking the allocated job
  • Report progress and feedback on all survey jobs to the contracts manager on a daily basis
  • Carry out such adhoc duties that company may require from time to time
