HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter

Venatu Recruitment Group are working in partnership with one of the UK’s largest fleet operators to recruit a Heavy Vehicle Technician to join their team based in Croydon. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a high volume of vehicles with the support of a thriving team of professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performing a full range of inspections, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on all types of vehicle, trailers and mechanical equipment

HOURS AND SALARY

  • 36.5 Hours (Full time)
  • Monday to Friday 6.00am – 2.00pm and 11.00am – 7.00pm

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • 36.5 hours per week (full time)
  • £2,841 Outer London Bonus
  • Basic salary is £27,798 with a starting fleet allowance of £606.84 per annum
  • Annual Leave is 4 weeks, rising with length of service. Option to purchase additional leave
  • Automatically enrol into Pension Scheme after 3 months
  • Overtime bonus

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Must be fully qualified to at least advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification)
  • Have proven (via CV) experience of working on vehicles, trailers and units
  • A positive and willing team member
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence (LGV preferred)
