Installation Manager

Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client to recruit an Installation Managers in various locations. The purpose of the role is to run the whole installation depot including the management of installation contractors, delivery / receipt of goods, control of stock and collection of all payments cost effectively.

Responsibilities

  • To control the day to day running of the installation depot
  • To be responsible for all the depot duties in carrying out installations of the company’s product to required standard
  • To ensure that all contracts are installed wherever possible, to the scheduled date and ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Monitor outstanding payments and on a daily basis making arrangements for collection at the earliest possible date without any grievance caused to the customer
  • To develop, implement, manage, monitor and maintain personnel management practices which ensure the recruitment, development and motivation of staff
  • Provide adequate health and safety provision for all company staff and installation teams
  • Ensure that the company complies with current regulations
  • Monitor performance of all teams to highlight specific problems and help with training
  • Check with fitters on every installation to ensure safety glass has been fitted in the necessary critical locations
  • To visit any potential problem installations and complete the relative documentation to support the visit, ensuring full customer satisfaction is achieved
  • To adopt a flexible approach according to the needs and resources of the branch and undertake all other duties as requested by any senior member of staff
  • In conjunction with other team members, ensure that flexible working arrangements are in place at all times for the whole department

Skills and attributes

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Ideally experienced in managing installation depots; Contractors, Stores and Office Staff
  • Able to build relationships and negotiate with customers
  • Experience of setting and achieve KPI’s
  • Flexible and agile in approach
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and have the drive to learn about new equipment and put new skills into action
  • A commitment to quality and teamwork is essential
  • Full UK driving license

Hours & benefits

  • 48 Hours per week (Flexible)
  • Monday - Friday (Saturdays required on an alternating basis)
