Manufacturing coordinator

  • To provide support to the manufacturing Department in the creation and design of existing and future reports and analysis tools in order to identify deviations and areas requiring improvements.
  • To optimise current systems to supply accurate information, identify trends and potential projects.
  • Ensure paperwork from production lines is fully completed and any actions have been raised within the escalation protocols, all tiered information is documented where applicable and accessible for review. Liaise with other departments to ensure information is shared to optimise knowledge gained from reports.
  • Support improvement project work through supplying system information, deployment of project charters and facilitation of project meetings
  • Using data from the manufacturing records, create KPI data, summaries and graphs on a daily basis and communicate the results to the manufacturing team.
  • Liaise with all support departments to keep all tiered information boards up to date.
  • Review and control manufacturing paperwork, ensuring all is fully completed also raising any anomalies during applicable Tiered Forums.
  • Manufacturing projects and initiatives are led and supported to drive the continuous improvement culture.
  • Manufacturing ERP system (Microsoft AX) used as an information source and for User and Key User training, coaching and support.
  • Liaise with TEF, Logistics, HR and CFA to ensure relevant information is shared.
  • Support the work-order process by helping to resolves errors, identifying material variances and communicate errors to relevant manufacturing teams.
  • Support the materials stock-count process with “hands on counting”, MRP system adjustments and general organisation.


  • Educated to HND level or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role involving information gathering and the ability to drive personal tasks.
  • Proven experience of ERP systems
  • I.T. proficient to a high level, specifically advanced in Microsoft Office to include Excel
  • Team player.
  • Positive and effective oral and written communicator.
  • Able to accept “change” and work flexibly to high standards.
  • Customer focused (internal and external).
