Marketing Manager

Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client to recruit a Marketing Manager To maximise sales and profit opportunities through overall marketing responsibility for all business areas which include New and Used vehicles sales and After Sales.

Responsibilities include

  • Responsible for planning and co-ordination of marketing activities for the market area across all communication and media platforms and all business areas
  • Communicates the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence
  • Co-ordinates the marketing activities in line with the company and Mercedes-Benz standards and processes
  • Ensures compliance requirements and schedules are delivered to meet the commercial needs of the business
  • Provides support to management to achieve an optimal utilisation of the marketing budget
  • Ensures all outgoing marketing materials maintain a professional image and adhere to corporate identity guidelines
  • Builds good relationships with manufacturers, professional bodies, suppliers and statutory representatives
  • Works together with the dealership team to plan, initiate and promote dealership marketing and promotional events
  • Provides professional guidance to ensure the business meets corporate standards
  • Manages development and ongoing measurement of the overall dealership marketing plan
  • Communicates clearly, regularly and promptly with colleagues across all business areas
  • Manages resource allocation to optimise seasonal and promotional peaks
  • Maximises the use of all centrally provided marketing materials and point of sale literature
  • Ensures the sales and after sales teams have full knowledge and understanding, of all promotional and marketing activities
  • Ensures all areas of Health & Safety operate effectively and within the requirements of the law
  • Ensures all capital outlay is authorised by a director

Qualifications and skills Required

  • Proven ability of creating and delivering measurable marketing plans
  • An understanding of the wider marketing and media landscape
  • Experience of leading a team in a customer focused environment
  • Experience of working in a changing environment
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Good telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Diploma
  • Marketing: 5 years’ experience
