Onsite Account Manager

Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for an Onsite Account Manager.

  • Responsible for the management of temporary staff attending the clients site and liaising with managers at all levels on staffing.
  • Attends daily and weekly planning and staffing meetings, where applicable
  • Monitoring staff quality, attendance and attrition levels.
  • Completing daily and weekly KPI reports
  • Attend/manage staff testing on manual handling and health & safety.
  • Advertise and actively recruit for new starters as per the headcount plan on an ongoing basis
  • Source, screen and book appointment for registration with suitable applicants
  • Manage the registrations, completing paperwork, interviews, tests, drug and alcohol testing and pre-site induction
  • Allocate suitable candidates to shifts and book in according to the headcount plan
  • Meet new starters before induction to welcome and brief on induction process.
  • Deliver presentation, site tour and manual handling training for new starters.
  • Make them aware of the working days based on the rota explain about possible rota changes.
  • Ensure all managers including labour manager and key account relationship account manager are informed if we are short on order.
  • Please speak with covering manager whether any extra cover for a shortage needed.
  • If manager requires more staff, please arrange a cover.
  • Actively seek for communications with managers and make sure that operation is fine.
  • Make sure that all orders are covered and delivered during the week if for any reason we are short to find covers.
  • Rota must be adjusted on the daily basis based on absence and attrition.
  • Make sure we have plan in place when absence happens there. If possible, use standbys. Agree with management, plan so absences and holiday are covered.
  • Proactively plan absences for incoming days. Make sure all days are covered.
  • Welfare calls to find out when individuals will return to work, motivate them and prepare cover in their absence.
  • Proactively plan spare people and standbys to make sure we are not in the position where we would not have extra people available if needed.


  • Proven experience as an onsite account manager
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability in problem solving and negotiation
  • Monday – Friday Working Hours
