Payroll Administrator

Venatu Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with an established Retford based company to recruit for a Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis. In this role you will support manager and employees through a variety of tasks supporting both the Operations team and the Accounts Department.

  • Location: Retford
  • Salary: £20,000 - £22,000pa
  • Contract Type: Permanent

  • Work alongside the Accounts Department supporting them with high volumes of data entry
  • Ensure efficient and effective operational flow
  • Ability to produce reports and present them as required
  • Creating spreadsheets and assist in the preparation of presentations
  • Communicate via the phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with a high quality and in a timely manner
  • Extensive software skills and systems usage
  • Checking hours for employees on a weekly basis
  • Ensuring all time sheets are completed and submitted before deadlines.


  • Previous experience of working within a busy office environment is essential
  • Payroll Administration experience required
  • A good level of IT regarding Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility and a willingness to take on other duties to ensure in the smooth running of the office
  • To promote a professional image of the company and themselves always.


  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (However flexibility is required in peak times)
