Product Manager

Venatu Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading provider for the Medical industry in the recruitment of a Product Manager. The successful Product Manager will work alongside the Account Manager in enhancing the relationship with long standing and established clients as well as identifying key opportunities for change projects. You will be based in England and able to travel throughout the UK.

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders in the target territory by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Analysing the markets potential by performing market surveys and identifying and discussing new opportunities with the respective sales reps and management
  • Developing and implementing the business plan to expand the company’s customer base and reinforce the current position in the market through cross and up-selling
  • Actively presenting, promoting and selling Medical’s solutions using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Identifying, managing and answering public tenders
  • Developing new and under-exploited markets for medical’s solutions in the territory
  • Identifying new (emerging) trends, upcoming changes in regulations or best practices and informing management to anticipate market shifts and prepare/initiate future developments
  • Performing constant competition bench marks and proposing evolutions in the software to stay ahead of the competition
  • Presenting sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the sales and management team
  • Working closely with colleagues to implement the sales strategy
  • Achieving the agreed upon sales targets


  • Patient workflow knowledge
  • IT integration experience
  • Master degree or equivalent through experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling solutions or capital equipment in a hospital environment
  • Project Management certification or knowledge is an asset
  • Solution selling certification/training
  • Specialist knowledge in workflow procedures i.e. Endoscopic, CSSD and/ or departments
  • IT Technical knowledge: Level III of Aexis (details of the software)
  • Enthusiastic entrepreneurial character with strong inter-personal soft skills
  • Excellent self-organisation and prioritising skills
  • Team player, not afraid of new challenges
  • Languages English, good written and verbal communication skills
  • We are looking for someone with integrated patient workflow knowledge in hospital from decontamination or endoscopy or Infection prevention & control.
  • Knowledge of IWS - Integrated Workflow Solutions
  • The successful Product Manager will be required to work flexibly and travel as and when required by the company.
