Production Manager

  • Deliver a highly skilled, fit for purpose, highly motivated and versatile team to ensure business continuity and reduce business risk.
  • Decide staffing and resource allocation within the site.
  • Demonstrate the ability and confidence to lead and sustain change without conflict.
  • Manage and develop the capabilities of your team to build a high performing workforce with a culture of delivery and accountability.
  • Reporting systems that accurately reflect achievements in department and business KPIs.
  • Sustain CI activity at site to cover all aspects of operations. Increase in OEE, reduction in waste, fully implement and sustain the 5S process and culture.
  • Ensure consistent or better than budget/forecast throughput, quality and cost performance, volume versus plan, cost per unit, yield against standard.
  • Deliver reductions in scrap levels operating costs.
  • Control factory costs including fixed and variable costs Achievement of standard costs against budget, compliance with BOMs.
  • Support the sales team in developing good customer relationships.
  • Maintain disciplined stock management processes that provide accurate inventories
  • Work autonomously and have a proven track record in delivering key targets.
  • Provide operational reports on site performance.
  • Maintain KPI`s, including OTIF, S&OP stock optimization SKU min/max levels adherence and optimization.
  • Communicate and role model continuous improvement priorities;
  • Ensure policies and procedures including health and safety requirements are fully compliant with legislation, standards are met, and changes are effectively communicated.
  • To be the connection between all relevant departments to ensure production is complete and on time.
  • Have and lead a team under your responsibility in accordance with the manager’s responsibilities as with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Be a leader of improvement, propose solution with your team
  • Communicate: keep the employees informed and be there to listen, inform management of actions and results


  • Strong ability to communication and experience with dealing with challenging situations.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the team.
  • Methodical and disciplined in approach to achieving goals.
  • Excellent communications skills and experience with dealing with challenging situations.
