Purchase Ledger Team Leader

Venatu Consulting are working with a company based in Doncaster to find a Purchase ledger team leader.

THE ROLE

  • Hands on position overseeing a team of accounts administrators processing purchase ledger and claims payments, and recording receipts and payments across a number of businesses in the group
  • Manage day-to day work-flow of the team, managing resources to ensure that the workload is kept up to date, whilst adhering to any SPIs & deadlines required
  • Ensuring that staff are cross-trained to cover for holidays and manage varying workloads
  • Maintain records and report on efficiency and quality of output of the team

THE PERSON

  • Previous experience of purchase ledger and banking processes
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Supervisory experience

DESIRABLE

  • Insurance/Financial Services experience an advantage
  • Excel skills an advantage
