Sales Account Manager

Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for a Sales Account Manager in the Doncaster area. The purpose of this role is to provide business growth for the company through the effective management of current customer spend.

Responsibilities

  • Account Managing customers
  • Proactively contacting existing customers and providing the service desired by the client
  • Create a revenue stream for volume sales
  • Establish and maintain working relationships
  • Communicate new product developments to prospective clients
  • Provide the Directors with market feedback
  • Provide the Directors with sales performance reports
  • Work to deadlines and targets

Skills & requirements

  • A good business acumen
  • Understanding of our competitors
  • Understanding about the market and competitors’ products
  • Good communications skills, both writing and verbally
  • To be self-motivated but able to work as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • A positive attitude
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Confidence presenting to people & groups of people
  • Initiative and enterprise
  • Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information
  • The ability to work to work with management to set and work to target & deadline
