Sales Coordinator

Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for a Sales Coordinator.

  • To assist and support the Area Sales Manager, based in France, in order to increase the sales for the UK, through building and creating effective customer relationships.
  • You will be co-ordinating between sales and operations to ensure that customers’ expectations are met in relation to order requirements and delivery.


  • Support all associated sales activities to help ensure sales targets are met.
  • Develop and retain close relationships with all key accounts, feeding back to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Account management of key customer account.
  • Receive, process and confirm orders, liaising with production to ensure product availability.
  • Coordinate associated transport for product deliveries, ensuring efficiency and cost control.
  • In liaison with the Finance Department, chase unpaid invoices as required.
  • Keep all customers / prospects information in the customer file up to date.
  • Facilitate customer visits to site, as arranged, and follow up with agreed actions.
  • Ensure the sales forecast in accurate and up to date.
  • Liaise with prospective customers, as instructed by the Area Sales Manager.
  • Produce reports as required, including weekly sales data.
  • Ensure the Specification Data Sheets record customers’ needs, or is contained within the conditions of contract.
  • Dealing with customer complaint.
  • Accept additional duties, as required, in the absence of the Operations Manager / Quality Team Leader.


  • Good knowledge of the FMCG / manufacturing industry.
  • Relevant Experience.
  • Previous experience within an administrative/office role.
  • Experience of working as a Sales Coordinator.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and oral presentation skills.
  • IT literate; a confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, engaging with stakeholders and building strong working relationships.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Be proactive and focused.


Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm.
