Sales Development Manager

Venatu Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for a Sales Development Manager.

  • Achieve target KPI’s and revenue objectives with target customer sets
  • Work within the identified sales strategy to increase sales revenues from higher segmented customer accounts
  • With the Centre Manager and Sales Manager, create and implement sales plans and packages for targeted customer groups to achieve agreed sales targets
  • With the Sales Manager and the Centre Manager, monitor the success of the targeted customer sets, promotions and campaigns
  • Attend weekly first line Centre management meetings and report on sales and marketing activity v performance
  • Utilise internal and external market data to develop an understanding of the potential sales opportunities within the customer base
  • Monitor own performance through measuring actual performance against targets and KPI’s – regularly review with the Centre Manager and take action for any deviations
  • Identify potential new customer account within business centre territory
  • In customer sales meetings, use effective questioning and listening skills to qualify customer total sales potential and overcome objections effectively
  • Ensure you are adequately trained and understand the Unique Selling Proposition of the brand, the “Features and Benefits” of the product range especially the genuine v non-genuine aspect and are adequately trained to overcome sales objections
  • Maintain own product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity and pricing


  • A self-starter with a proven track record in achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Performance orientated with proven selling and negotiation skills
  • Extensive customer account management experience – has a real passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to work with a team as well as on own initiative
  • A full clean UK driving licence


  • Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm
  • Every other Saturday Morning 8.30am – 1.3pm
  • 23 days Holiday + Stats
