Service Advisor

Venatu Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established automotive organisation in the recruitment of a Customer Service Representative. A pivotal role, with a direct impact on the Retailer CSI score and aftermarket profitability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • Acting as the interface between the Customer and the Retailer
  • Delivering consistently high levels of customer service, contributing to increased customer satisfaction and the overall success of the Retailer
  • A single point of contact for the customer, providing relevant, accurate and timely information through each stage
  • Covering four process stages: Planning, On Arrival, Service & Repair and Invoice and Follow up
  • Creating, maintaining and communicating the service plan to customers
  • Loading the workshop schedule to utilise the maximum capacity
  • Maintaining customer contact information on the company database
  • Ensuring all resources are available in advance of scheduled work (labour and parts)
  • Greeting customers on arrival in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ensuring all authorised work is properly codified on the repair order prior to handover to the workshop and managing bookings for courtesy cars
  • Gaining customer agreement through selling the benefits of identified repair solutions
  • Producing and explaining invoices to the customer at point of vehicle collection, resolving any queries or objections in a timely manner
  • Developing labour and parts sales by proactively promoting the services and products available through effective customer relationships

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Previous Customer Service and Administration experience
  • Basic working knowledge of vehicle technology
  • An understanding of Operators Licence Laws and Regulations
  • Ability to work in an organised & methodical manner in a fast-moving environment
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcome
  • Negotiation skills and a good selling technique
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook applications & general computer literacy
  • Friendly and helpful nature with the desire to deliver excellent customer service
  • Conducting yourself in a professional manner always
  • The successful Customer Service Advisor / Representative will work alternate shifts

HOURS

  • Monday to Friday - 6.00am - 2.30pm / 9.30am -6.00pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays (6.00am – 12.00pm).
