Katie Wymer - Senior Recruitment Consultant working within our Engineering & Manufacturing Division
Turning 23 I moved back to Doncaster from my little life in Edinburgh and found myself working within a Recruitment Agency which my friend had recommended. I was working in temporary recruitment for the Engineering sector. I really enjoyed this time, making some amazing friends along the way.
I worked hard, getting my head around the world of a 360 consultant and I managed to build up my own desk focusing on White Collar Civil Engineering. After a year of this position, I took some time off to have my little boy Rory and faced the new role of becoming a Mum!
After having Rory, I fancied myself as an Internal Recruiter so took a part time/work from home job where I mainly focused on hiring members for our Technical Engineering team.
A few months went by, and I was itching to get back into an office, working to a budget, and hitting KPI’s (never thought I’d say that in my life!). I contacted my friend Salma about the vacancy at Venatu and obviously she told me it was AMAZING! Amanda then contacted me and a week or so later I’d had my interview and was very excited to join the MMC Temp Team. I can’t wait to see what the future holds here for me.
