PSV Engineer

Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off shift 06.00 – 17.00
We are currently seeking a dedicated PSV Technician / Mechanic to perform essential maintenance and repairs on buses. This PSV Technician role is vital for ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- As an PSV Technician, conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards
- The PSV Technician will perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections is a key duty for the PSV Technician.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory, a responsibility of the PSV Technician.

Requirements:
- Work a shift pattern of four days on and four days off.
- Possess at least an NVQ Level 2 qualification in the maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification), OR have at least five years' experience in repairing and maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles, which you will need to provide evidence for.
- Provide evidence of your qualification from the awarding body. If you don’t have an NVQ, you’ll need to pass the IRTEC Service Maintenance Technician exam during your six-month probation.
- While not essential, having a PCV licence would be a great advantage.
