Polish Speaking Warehouse Despatch Administrator

Up to £24,981 DOE
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30 (with a one-hour unpaid lunch break)

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Polish-speaking individual to take on the role of Warehouse Despatch Administrator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the UK sales dispatch process, acting as the primary link between the administrative team and the warehouse. Key Responsibilities:
- Despatch Administration:
- Use courier software to create despatch labels.
- Ensure all parcels and pallets are accurately labelled.
- Book UK pallet collections.
- In future, take on export administration duties as part of the despatch team.
- Provide carriage quotes to sales teams.
- Communication:
- Maintain effective communication between the warehouse and other departments.
- Ensure accurate data entry and proper completion of paperwork.
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide cover and support to colleagues in administrative roles as needed.
- Adapt and grow with the role, taking on new responsibilities.
- Uphold honesty and ethical standards in all tasks.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
- Comply with company and Health & Safety guidelines, particularly in lifting heavy goods and maintaining workplace cleanliness.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
- Occasionally, you may be asked to perform tasks outside of regular working hours to support overall warehouse operations and business needs.
Qualifications:
- GCSE/T Levels or equivalent in Maths and English, with C/4 grades or above.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, internet, and email.
- Good telephone manner and communication skills.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with couriers and pallet distribution companies.
- Familiarity with export administration is a plus.
