£45,000 to £50,000 + car allowance

We are currently looking for a Design Manager with experience with a main contractor to join our Hull based client. The role will manage all aspects of design production and review process.

What will the Design Manager be doing?
- Manage all aspects of design production including technical evaluations during tender phase
- Reviewing design submissions. Communicating with design consultants and company’s in house teams
- Liaise with building controls, local planning authorities and principal design consultants where required
- Attend meetings with project teams
- Ensuring all design checks are undertaken, recorded and that all designs ae compliant with the relevant standards
- Attending site as and when required to assist with surveys and site meetings

What we are looking for in the Design Manager role?
- Must have previous experience with a main contractor in construction or modular builds
- Confident IT Skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Revit
- Comprehensive site experience in construction, engineering or professional design role
- Well developed technical construction knowledge
- Good understanding of Building Regulation, BREEAM and BIM Level 2 standards
- Full UK Driving License
