We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our Sheffield based client on a permanent basis.
CAD Technician – Office Based

£35,000 to £44,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Our client are looking to recruit a CAD Technician to join their expanding team. Our client are specialists in heart network projects that is both efficient and ecofriendly.

What will the CAD Technician be doing?
- Design and delivery of new energy projects during the pre-construction and construction phases
- Creating high quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on supplied designs and make modifications to existing drawings
- Use a variety of CAD software including Revit, 2D and 3D models
- Generate layout drawings from PointCloud files
- Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
- Conduct site visits and undertake survey when required

What we are looking for in the CAD Technician?
- Excellent design, technical and software skills
- Product manufacturing for bespoke engineering OR civil engineering would be beneficial
- 3-5 years experience in CAD engineering design role
- Ability to produce detailed schematic representations of LTHW, DHW, chilled water, ventilation, electrical and control system
- Highly competent in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Revit
- Advantageous to have Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge
