Our client are seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. This will be supporting the design and growth of heat network infrastructure in the UK.
They are specialists in heart network projects that is both efficient and ecofriendly.

What will the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer be doing?
- Assist in the evaluation of project scope and design inception.
- The production of detailed drawings, reports, calculations and specifications for different RIBA stages.
- Surveying and evaluating existing buildings energy systems.
- Coordinating the work of others and coordinating work with engineers of other discipline.
- Involvement in energy centre electrical services design
- Designing hydronic systems and system calculations
- Undertake hydraulic and thermal modelling of system through the use of software.
- Assist in the design of medium to large scale low carbon energy systems, heat distribution networks, controls, plant-rooms, thermal storage and fuel storage.
- The production of detailed drawings, reports and specifications.
- Surveying and evaluating existing buildings energy systems.
What we are looking for in the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer?
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- At least 1 year experience
- Competent in the numerate design of electrical services for large scale energy centres
- Knowledge of LV distribution systems, lighting and emergency lighting, small power, fire alarms and detection, protection, standby power supplies, earthing
- Experience in producing calculations, analysis reports, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other related documents.
