Venatu Recruitment are proud to annonuce that a leading client of ours within the Engineering Industry is now in the market for a Building Maintenance Engineer to join them at their HQ! The client is well-established, leading figure within the Trailer Manufacturing industry with them being in busy since 1979! They specilaise in the manufacture and assembly of cutting edge trailers and is a well recongised, leading figure within this space! Due to the busy nature and continued and growth they've consistently see year on year, they're now looking for a Building Maintenance Electriain to join them!
This is a full-time postion paying £40k per year!
The client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician with a strong background in building maintenance and a valid 18th Edition Cert to to work across three sites, all within a mile of eachother, who can carry out their preventive maintenance!
Job Duties include:
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems in line with 18th Edition regulations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime for the buildings’ operations across all sites.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and updates on electrical equipment across multiple sites.
The type of candiates they're looking for has:
- Valid 18th Edition certification is essential.
- Proven experience in buildings maintenance, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices and the ability to work safely at all times.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to travel between sites (all within a 1-mile radius) and respond to urgent issues as required.
