Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and a knack for leadership? Do you have experience running a commercial vehicle workshop at quite a large operational level?
The Role:
As an HGV Workshop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop and your expertise will ensure that the fleet of vehicles is maintained to the highest standards, keeping them safe and roadworthy. Your leadership will inspire and guide our skilled team of mechanics and technicians to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HGV workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity managing around 10 members of staff
- Lead and motivate a team of mechanics and technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and meet customer deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and manage workshop budgets, including inventory control and procurement of parts and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Implement and oversee training programs to keep the team updated on the latest industry standards and technologies.
