Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 5.30pm
Fridays - 7.30am - 5pm
1 in 3 Saturday rota is also required - 7.30am - 11.30am
Job Description of a Stores Person
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular stock counts and management.
- Ensure all stock is stored in the correct location for easy retrieval.
- Assist with purchasing stock and ensuring sufficient inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Liaise with suppliers to source products, negotiate prices, and place orders.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch or collection.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
- Trade Counter Support
Requirments of a Stores Person
- Previous experience in stores or buying/procurement role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident and customer-focused, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer skills (for stock, sales, and procurement systems).
- Forklift license is a bonus but not essential.
