The client is an extremely well-established, leading figure within the industry havign 14 sites nationwide and being renowned as the front runner within their field and trading for over 100 years! They specilaise in the galvanzing of a variety of metal products and componets all carried out in accordance to EN ISO 1461 and under the control of ISO 9001. Due to the busy nature and continued and growth they've consistently see year on year, they're now looking for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer to join them!
This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week from Monday through Friday paying £40k ACCOMPANIED WITH A FINAL SALARY PENSION!
The client is looking for an experienced Elec Biased Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in heavy indsutry factory enviroment ideally with the Electrotechnical craft 2365 City & Guilds qualification.
Job Duties include:
- Putting Safety First – Operating safe working practices within the work environment.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance of equipment and facilities.
- Undertake any maintenance operations at site.
- Assure information required for the Engineering Management System is inputted correctly.
- Conducting electrical diagnostic and fault-finding activities.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and resolving related issues.
The type of candiates they're looking for has:
- Candidates for this role should have experience within an engineering role.
- Ideally Electrotechnical craft 2365 City & Guilds qualification
- They will preferably hold electrical installation and testing qualifications; however electrical maintenance qualifications will be considered.
- This role would suit someone who is organised, self-motivated, a team-player, conscientious and has a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Must be capable of good communication and cooperation with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Any previous experience working with overhead cranes/hoists would be beneficial.
