Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team in Scunthorpe. This role involves delivering cuts of steel in a 3.5-ton vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver cuts of steel to designated locations.
- Adhere to all driving laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Handle delivery paperwork and ensure accurate documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with entitlement to drive a 3.5-ton vehicle.
- Proven experience as a van driver, preferably with experience in handling steel or similar materials.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
