Crane Engineer (Electrical)
Location: Tyne & Wear
Basic Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Additional Benefits: Excellent Overtime rates, company van with fuel card (can be used for personal use), tools, PPE plus much more.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Crane Engineer to join our clients team who specialise in the maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid electro-mechanical expertise and hands-on experience in a similar field.
What’s on Offer:
- Basic Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum working a 40-hour week

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to maintain high equipment standards.
- Attend customer sites promptly to diagnose and resolve breakdowns.
- Support customers, advising on safety and compliance.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualification is electro – mechanical engineering
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in an electro-mechanical engineering role
- LEEA Qualifications - Desirable
