Pre-Delivery Inspector (PDI)
Location: Stoke on Trent
Basic Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PDI to join our clients team based in Stoke on Trent. As the successful candidate you will be joining a highly regarded company who specialise in production and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technicians and other staff involved in the PDI process. Provide training, guidance, and support to improve their skills and efficiency.
- Oversee the inspection of products to ensure that all pre-delivery checks are performed accurately and efficiently. Ensure that vehicles meet all quality, safety, and functional standards.
- Investigate and resolve any issues related to quality, mechanical failures, or defects.
- Work closely with the service department to address technical concerns.
- Ensure that all orders pass the necessary quality checks before being delivered to customers
- Ensure that any defects, damages, or discrepancies are documented and resolved.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used in the PDI process.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and tools required for the PDI process. of necessary resources.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a PDI capacity in a manufacturing or automotive setting.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
