Powered Access Engineer
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum - Plus overtime available

Are you an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled Powered Access Engineer with CAP to join our client’s team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role will be a mobile role with occasional work needed to be undertaken at the Brentwood depot. Therefore, you will be required to travel to customer sites where you will be handling equipment breakdown repairs, documenting any customer-related damage, and managing warranty matters as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Comprehensive Equipment Maintenance: Conduct PDIs, routine servicing, LOLER inspections, and carry out repairs to keep our fleet running at peak performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all servicing and maintenance adhere to manufacturer specifications, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Repair & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems efficiently.
- Record Management: Maintain precise records for all services, inspections, and repairs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team and hire office to maintain high machine availability and excellent customer service.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in the powered access sector is essential.
- Qualifications/Certifications: CAP
- Technical Skills: A strong grasp of diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Commitment to Excellence: A proactive approach to learning and continuous professional development.
Working Pattern:
- Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:30
- 33 days holiday
