3 x Maintenance Operatives Urgently Required!!
Salary £14.85 Per hour, plus £1.38 London weighting uplift
£16.23 per hour!
Temporary to Permanent (Based on merit, could be permanent after 4 weeks)
Working Hours: Monday- Thursday7.45 – 4.30 Friday 07.45 – 3.30 (Must be flexible and willing to do overtime)
Overtime paid at higher rates enquire within.
About the role of the Maintenance Operative:
- Refurbish and fit out the complete range of modular buildings to the highest possible standards.
- You will work on the Modular building in Yard and then also on Site.
- The company offers a wide range of training and upskilling throughout the employment.
- You will for the first few months shadow another team member who will give training and support.
Duties of the Maintenance Operative:
- Rip out and Clean the Modular building once back from site.
- Painting and Decorating to the internal and external of the building
- Basic Joinery, partition walls, doors and windows.
- Plumbing duties, sink and toilet assembly, waste and drainage, copper and push fit fittings
- Electrics of sockets, heaters, lighting etc, supporting in the preparation and first fix, under the supervision of an electrician.
- General Fit out and Refurb both on and off site
- Installation and Dismantling of all buildings.
- Maintenance of Tools
- Report any damages to the Team
- Help and support movement of buildings on and off site.
- Following waste policies.
- Any other duties required by management
- Working with Power Tools
Requirements:
- Full UK driving License
- CSCS Card (Advantage)
- Maintenance or Handyman Experience
- Advantage if you have NVQ Level 2
- Working with Power Tools
