Pay Rate
Semi Skilled
£13.97 per hour Pay As You Earn
£17.00 per hour CIS contract work
Fully Skilled
£15.00 per hour
£19.00 per CIS contract work
Hours of Work:
Monday To Friday flexible from 6am to 4pm
The Opportunity
Semi/Fully Skilled Modular Joiner/ Installer URGENTLY required to work on a Temp to Perm or Contract basis.
About the role
The main duties will be:
- Measuring and cutting timber
- Using various joinery tools
- Reading joinery construction drawings
- Erecting walls
- Marking up timber walls
- Keeping workplace hazard free
- 1st Fix joinery duties
- Putting lodges together (Basic levelling and Bolting)
- Decking
- Semi Skilled Joinery practices
- Sheeting
- Basic floor laying
- General labouring duties
Qualifications/and or Experience
- Minimum 2 years semi-skilled joinery experience
- Ideally NVQ level 1/2 in Joinery and Carpentry
- Strong Attention to Detail
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Can work as part of a team.
- Can work if needed alone and unsupervised.
- Ideally Modular Construction Experience
- Ideally will be willing to work away at busy times
