Job Title: Cabin Fitter`s Urgently Required
Location: York
Position : 12 week Temporary to Permanent
The opportunity:
We are seeking Cabin Fitters to join our Modular Building client in the York area.
The main duties will be:
- Measuring and cutting timber
- Using various joinery tools
- Reading joinery construction drawings
- Erecting timber walls
- Marking up timber walls
- Plaster Boarding
- Keeping workplace hazard free
- 1st joinery duties
- Semi Skilled Joinery practices
- Sheeting
- Basic Floor Laying and Roofing
- General labouring duties
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 1 year semi-skilled joinery experience
- Ideally NVQ level 1 or and 2 in Joinery and Carpentry
- Strong Attention to Detail
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Can work as part of a team.
- Can work if needed alone and unsupervised.
- Ideally Modular Construction Experience but not essential
- Punctual, Reliable and a Hard Worker
