Job Advertisement: Black Hat Supervisor (Temporary Ongoing Contract)
Location: York
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced Black Hat Supervisor to join our team on a temporary ongoing contract for a project in York. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory experience and relevant qualifications to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the project.
Key Requirements:
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card relevant to experience
- SC Medical certification
- First Aid qualification (Preferred)
- Proven experience working as a supervisor on construction projects in heavy civils concrete and bridge works
Job Details:
- You will be working directly under the project manager at the site, ensuring that the day-to-day activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
- This is a temporary ongoing contract, with the possibility of extending for 2 years or more for the right candidate, based on performance and the project's length.
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and supervising site activities
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supporting the project manager in the delivery of the project
- Managing and coordinating teams on-site
- Reporting on site progress and issues
