Key Responsibilities of a Plater Welder:

Performfillet welds from 6mm right up to 100mm.

Carry out butt welds on plate thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 100mm.

Execute multi-run welding to a consistently high quality and a neat standard.

Work from technical drawings, ensuring all fabrications meet strict specifications and tolerances.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
Requirements of a Plater Welder:

Proven experience in heavy fabrication and welding.

Ability to produce neat, structurally sound multi-run welds.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
