What you'll do:
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including steering, suspension, brakes, fuel, air, transmission, driveline, and more.
- Replace major units and perform engine repairs/rebuilds as needed.
- Utilize dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment for efficient repairs.
- Maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards and adhere to company safety guidelines.
- Complete job cards, maintenance records, and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications and experience:
- Recognized apprenticeship or proven work history in a similar role.
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum).
- 2+ years of experience.
- MOT Tester preferred (not essential).
- Additional qualifications in specialist diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair, or welding a plus.
