Our client, a leading player in the industry, is seeking a talented CAD Technician to join their Scunthorpe-based team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with both customers and internal teams, providing high-quality technical support and detailed drawings to ensure every project meets exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Replicate Customer Drawings: Use CAD software to accurately replicate customer drawings from various file types, ensuring all specifications are met.

Drawing Verification: Meticulously check all details within drawings to identify and correct any potential errors before production.

Quote & Report Preparation: Support the sales team by preparing comprehensive quotes and reports for upcoming projects.

Customer Liaison: Act as the technical point of contact for customers, providing guidance and resolving technical issues.

Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team on incoming enquiries, ensuring technical accuracy and prompt responses.

Virtek Scanning: Operate Virtek scanners on customer samples to create precise digital representations for production.

What We are Looking For:

• Proven experience in a CAD Technician role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on 2D AutoCAD software.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for both customer and internal team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
