Venatu Recruitment are proud to annonuce that a Global Leading Client of ours within the Packaging industry is now in the market for an Multi-Skiled Maintenance Engineer to join them at their Chesterfield site! The client is an extremely well-established, global leader with turnover approaching a billion pounds annually and trading in 40 countries! They specilaise in high quality, corrugated packaging solutions and supply many huge companies and indsurtreis alike. Due to the busy nature and continued and growth they've consistently see year on year, they're now looking for an Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join them!
The client is looking for a positive and procative Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with 5 years+ experinceing ideally working in a FMCG enviroment with a minimum BTEC level 3 or equivalent!
This role is paying up to £49,000 per annum on a 3 on 3 off continental shfit patten with the bonus of 2 WEEKS OF EVERY 6 WEEKS OF THE YEAR!!
Job Duties include:
• Provide engineering support to the department with regard to both Breakdowns & PPM & TPM
• Responsible for identifying necessary parts and equipment required for repairs & improvements
• To carry out both electrical and mechanical installations within skill set
• To make rational and informed decisions with regard to breakdown solutions and completion of individual projects.
• To carry out Electrical & Mechanical repairs within scope of ability & requirements.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to an agree standard, ensuring safe working always and carry out Reactive and Preventative Maintenance.
• Ensure site assets are maintained to a high standard, meet site requirements and are reliable.
• Attain the engineering standards across the site by providing functional support and expertise
• Be able to work effectively as a team not only with engineering team but also with production
The type of candiates they're looking for has:
- Multi Skilled skillset (Mechanical & Electrical)
- Minimum 5 years experience ideally in a FMCG enviroment.
- BTEC Level 3 In Engineering.
- HNC in Engineeing or equivalent is Advantageous.
- CORRUGATED PACKAGING EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE!
