Job Advertisement: Estimator / Specifier
Salary: Up to £45,000
About Us:
Venatu Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with our client to help them grow their team with the addition of an Estimator. They are an established company within the UK Modular sector, known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join their dynamic team. Ideally the candidate will have 2-3 years minimum experience of Estimating within a Construction related field and will be available to travel to Wales once evey week or second week for 1 day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise closely with the Production Team to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
- Review and analyse engineering drawings to prepare detailed and competitive tenders.
- Specify parts and materials required for production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Travel to our factory once every week or two to oversee production needs and collaborate with the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in the Construction sector
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in [relevant software/tools].
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel to the factory on a regular basis probably once every week or two weeks.
- Good understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Proficient in Excel.

- Core Hours are to work alongside when the factory is open so 8-4.30pm Monday to Friday but flexibility is given.

- Phone, plus mileage covered to the factory and sites and accommodation covered if staying overnight.
