Location: Houghton (Cambridgeshire)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE

A highly motivated and experienced Polish Speaking Health, Safety and Compliance Officer is sought after to join a well-established company. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees while supporting compliance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices
• Performance monitoring and compliance
• Collating statistical information for health and safety management
• Evidence compliance within auditing
• Undertake inspections on-site and working at heights
• Present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets
• Develop a robust management system and assist senior staff in leading health and safety initiatives
What They Are Looking for in a New Candidate:
• A strong background in health, safety, and compliance, preferably within an industrial or construction environment
• Polish Language skills would be an asset but are not essential
• The ability to influence and motivate employees at all levels
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting purposes
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, and safety training programs
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
